Life According to my iPhone

Gingerbread House Contest

There was a fierce battle one evening over who would make the most amazing gingerbread house in all of Blythe.  There were some pretty awesome ideas if I do says so.  The kids voted and picked the winner, but I think my little penthouse doesn't look too shabby.

Finding My Toes

Just because it's cute.

Polar Express

Enjoying chocolate chip cookies with her best bud

Nothing hot chocolate can't fix

The library here in town had a Polar Express Experience for the kids in the beginning of December.  The elves had come from the North Pole to read the story to the kids as the rode the train back to Santa's workshop.  Savannah was super excited to have her cookie and hot cocoa.  Then Santa came out after carols and things seemed to take a turn.  She was not super thrilled at the thought of sitting on his lap, however, she did like the bell from his sleigh that he had for her.

First Trip to Disney

These kids were super stoked!  I was a little bit too.  Well maybe a lot!

Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen- If you look carefully at Savannah's face, you can see the look of sheer panic and terror on her face!

He is by far the chillest kid around

Look at that laugh!!

Savannah's favorite princess and part of the parade

We took our first family trip to Disney land right after Thanksgiving.  It was a blast!  There were not as many people as I feared.  We were able to ride all of the big name rides that Savannah was big enough to ride on by 2 so afterwards we were just walking through the park and enjoying the parade.  It was so nice.  Savannah was so excited to see Cinderella! She was a little wary about pretty much all of the rides except for the Little Mermaid in California.  Easton was totally relaxed the whole time.  He was able to ride on all the rides too.  It was a nice visit for the four of us.  Looking forward to doing it again!

Christmas Creepies

This is by far one of the weirdest Christmas displays I have ever seen!

Early Anniversary Get-Away

Cade and I were so fortunate to have an early getaway for our anniversary to New Orleans. My folks took the kids for us. We had an amazing room overlooking the city to start off. We had a delicious dinner and dessert and headed to the New Orleans Opera production of "The Barber of Seville". It was fantastic. These folks were so talented. A very enjoyable experience.
The next day we spent the day eating some amazing food and reminiscing in my hometown. It was great stopping by the Dairy Dip for my fave dipped cone followed by a shrimp po'boy. We spent the rest of the day with me taking a nap and watching a movie. It was a nice relaxing few days.

My sweet boy

Easton is growing up so fast. It's incredible to see how much his personality is already coming through. He is so happy and loving. Just so ready to smile. He has started rolling over and talking so much. He loves laughing and has quite an infectious one at that. I'm so lucky
