Driving back to Salt Lake
Provo ( Missinary Mall...I thought I was going to pee my pants laughing)
Joseph Smith Memorial Building
St. George Temple
This month has been awesome!! First weekend in April, Cade and I went up to Utah for General Conference. It was so cool. I have never been there before and it was absolutely beautiful. We stopped in St. George to see Cade's old stomping grounds and see the St. George temple. Amazing! We got to Utah late Thursday night and planned to do sight-seeing for the next two days. We woke up Friday morning to snow. AHHH! I was so excited. I have only seen snow twice in my life and it wasn't even cold enough for it to stay on the ground for more than an hour. I was so excited. We toured Temple Square all day and did a session at the Salt Lake Temple. So awesome! Live sessions rock! We woke up Saturday to even more snow and headed to the morning session of conference. I was expecting all sorts of protesters and was bracing myself for the worse. But when we rounded the corner, there was like 5. I guess they were waiting for Sunday. We saw a few people from our ward and our old stake president from Phoenix. After that we headed to Provo and Park City. There was even more snow there. We drove through BYU and saw the temple and MTC. I felt like a total tourist, snapping pictures of everything. Cade was laughing at me. We left Sunday morning. It was a blast! It was so crazy seeing all sorts of billboards for church sites and advertisements. It was a really neat thing for me.
