Ward Luau

Last night was so much fun. Our ward threw an authentic luau thanks to the Kuamoo family and Elder Hew Lien. It was amazing. There was tons of people there and delicious food. I even learned how to make an authentic Hawaiian dish. It was delicious. They did pig and even made some poi for everyone to try. Cade and I were asked to join a group who were performing a handgame. Cade and I are on the far side in the white t-shirt and I'm in the pink dress next to him. (I posted a video. Thanks to my mother-in-law for the camera work.)
After that was done Brother Kuamoo sang a few songs and played his ukulele.
Sister Kuamoo and Elder Hew Lien did a Hawaiian dance for us telling the story of a ranch on one of the islands.

It was such an amazing night. There was so much conversation and fun going on that the time flew by. Thanks to all those who helped and participated. I will never forget it.
